OPENING SOON

Flattery is a question into our times; a form that seems larger than it is; a peak that holds because we are willing to believe in it.

There is no need to withdraw beauty here. No correction. No lesson. Just a moment of looking.

The structure asks if it is mighty, or does it only feel that way from where we are standing?

Flattery opens REACTOR: a new series of artworks of sustained curiosity. It is where attention is applied daily in the atelier without a specific goal, allowing new work to emerge over time. Each piece begins with a what if: materials, physics, photography, and algorithmic loops. What remains is not a planned outcome, but evidence of time spent paying attention. The stream follows this curiosity to its natural conclusion; whether resolving as a singular one-of-one artefact or a specific sequence, the format is recognised only when the investigation demands material presence.

Origin: Macro photography of clustered PB29 - synthetic Ultramarine Blue pigments.

Realised on 310 gsm, 100% white cotton Hahnemühle William Turner paper. Characterised by a fine, highly pronounced felt structure, this genuine mould-made paper provides striking depth and a three-dimensional effect. The surface is free of optical brighteners and protected by a matt archival-grade coating for deep blacks and impressive contrast. Acid- and lignin-free, the work is ISO 9706 conform for highest age resistance.
