Oils

I started out painting with oils, choosing the hardest challenges from the very beginning. My early work was a wild mix of chaos and discovery—as a colorblind artist, I figured that turning it up to 11 and leaning into what some might call a "deficiency" made the process truly interesting. I began with portraits and self-portraits drawn from photos, live sessions, and even mirrors—capturing that familiar yet unique quality of the human face. What started as a personal escape from routine has evolved into a practice that connects through an honest, unfiltered expression.
