I don't remember exactly, not how things were, not who was there, but the bits and the pieces, feelings, warmth, cold, the colour, life.

Each board is one of those on its own. They tumble around in my head, separate, unresolved. Then I put them out on the table, mix them, bring one in, take one away, until these shards start to make sense together.

I don't set out to make things that are pretty. I find it interesting to work with problems: the pigments as they get absorbed into the acrylic, pockets of air under the sheet that leave holes you can then work with.

These titles read the surfaces the way you would check the weather: colour and geometry, little else. Sometimes a storm.

Please note that digital screens cannot perfectly replicate physical pigments; the work itself is the definitive reference for color and texture. Subtle variations in character are inherent.

FROM THE ATELIER

The darkness in the head gives the world its colour. I navigate the world through light and contrast rather than representation — as a red-green colourblind artist, I lean on intensity, structure, and friction to steer a dialogue between machine perfection and human shortcomings. Rather than the flawless, I look for beauty in the unstable, the broken, and the living.
