Alt Season continues my exploration of light as both subject and emotion. We exist within a shifting spectrum, suspended between worlds, dissolving into the light that holds us. The work reflects on how change draws us into new emotional climates before we’ve had time to adjust. As I grow older, I find myself sensing these transitions sooner, almost welcoming them—evolving toward a state where saturation and stillness can coexist. It’s that exhilarating instant just before the familiar fades and something new begins to take shape.

FROM THE ATELIER

The darkness in the head gives the world its colour. I navigate the world through light and contrast rather than representation — as a red-green colourblind artist, I lean on intensity, structure, and friction to steer a dialogue between machine perfection and human shortcomings. Rather than the flawless, I look for beauty in the unstable, the broken, and the living.
